What Services We Provide
Adult Counseling
Brief to long term concurrent disorder counselling to adults 19 and older, specializing in thorough assessment, as well as treatment for a wide range of problems. We are adept at working with high-risk situations, including suicide and self-harm.
Youth Counseling
Specialized in providing youth (12-25 year old) mental health and substance use treatment for the past 8 years in North Vancouver, and have over 15 years of experience helping youth with mental health and substance use issues.
Group Counseling
Group counseling is available for a variety of issues. Group counseling is not only often economically more feasible, but best for treating a variety of issues. Group counseling is not a process where you have to over share with strangers.
Consultation
Sometimes you want a second opinion, or have questions about a loved one who appears to be struggling with mental health and/or substance use issues. These services are not “treatment”, but are available, from a one-off session to ongoing consultation.
Case Management
Ongoing professional care for those with chronic mental illness such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder and bipolar disorder. We offer a level of care that compliments public services and fills in the many gaps, ensuring the best quality care.
Clinical Supervision
Only provided by Ted Robinson. Drawing upon over 30 years experience Ted provides clinical supervision that meets BCACC requirements for both students entering the field as well as those who are well established counsellors.
Counseling provided by a Master’s level student
Individual counseling provided by a Master’s level student at a lower cost. All sessions are directly supervised by Ted Robinson to ensure the highest quality.

Services are provided over an encrypted virtual care provider that stores all records securely on Canadian servers. This allows for the flexibility of serving you regardless of where you are, better matching your needs.
Since COVID there has been a large amount of research showing virtual care is equally effective to in person care, and in many ways better as makes attending sessions easier and therefore more likely engage in treatment.
